While the brand name of any product may change from time to time, we generally use a combination of conventional cleaning products, soap, really hot water, and elbow grease.
We can always accommodate for people who have sensitivities or preferences that may disallow some conventional cleaning products. Please do not hesitate to communicate your needs.
We also opt to use reusable cloths for cleanings that undergo a sanitizing process between uses. We’ve found that this cuts back dramatically on waste that we can keep out of the landfills and oceans.

While we can always give an estimate, it’s hard to tell exactly how much love a home will need before it meets our exacting standards.
If you have communicated your budget to us, we will always stick to it. We understand that our services are a luxury, and are committed to honoring the trust that people place in our hands to restore their homes to a place that is restorative.
If you’re on a tight budget, but need help, please do not hesitate to let us know! We have many ways to accommodate you. Let us help!

The owner of Punk Rock Cleaning, Hannah Cooley (who you can learn more about on our About Us page) is also the main operator of PRC. She often employs trusted and trained community members to help out once in a while.
If it is ever expected that Hannah will not attend the cleaning you’ve booked, you will be notified of the name of the person who will be caring for your home, given their contact information, and a group chat between the three of you will be established.

Tidying up a bit before a serviceperson comes to clean your pad is recommended. We tend not to know where you like your mail to be laid, or where you keep your bottlecap collection.
All that being said, the one thing we don’t bring with us at each service is a toilet bowl brush and toilet bowl cleaner. Because of the…..uhm….personal nature of these things, it would be unsanitary for us to carry them around. So please, buy one of each of these so that we can clean your toilet. :)
